AIR’s services are confidential, tailored, and affordable. All services utilize CRAFT, developed by Robert Meyers at the University of New Mexico. CRAFT’s effectiveness has been validated scientifically with those suffering from alcohol or drug problems, and with adults, young adults, and adolescents.

A consultation with Dr. Simon-Levine provides family members with a fresh and professional perspective of your family’s situation, including your history, past and future treatment options, and recommendations that your family can take immediately. Workshops in Western Massachusetts
Workshops are limited to the family members of 4 problem users. Workshops meet for 8 consecutive weeks, 1.5 hour sessions in Northampton, MA. In addition to CRAFT, family members receive a tailored treatment plan for their loved one and a complementary copy of Dr. Meyers’ book Get Your Loved One Sober. Cost is $450. Additional family members pay half price. A $50 deposit reserves your place in the workshop of your choice.
Workshops by phone
Phone workshops are limited to the family members of 3 problem users. Workshops meet over a toll-charged conference line for 8 consecutive weeks, 1.5 hour sessions. In addition to CRAFT, family members receive a tailored treatment plan for their loved one and a complementary copy of Dr. Meyers’ book Get Your Loved One Sober. Cost is $595. Additional family members pay half price. A $50 deposit reserves your place in the workshop of your choice.

Treatment plan research.
Treatment plans are tailored to the family and the loved one’s financial and insurance situation. Treatment Plans begin with the lowest intensity level of treatment (peer and self help) and include nontraditional alternatives to treatment (recovery coaching), as well as placements in treatment programs at more intensive levels (outpatient psychotherapy; outpatient groups; intensive outpatient; brief and longer term inpatient treatment; sober, halfway and three-quarter houses; and detoxification units.) $65/hour.
